Harnessing technology—and the digital landscape—to effectively display the large-scale, natural work of a concern like Mountain Meadow Landscaping can be challenging. Often, landscapers can come across as just another collection of lawns and generic trees using up pixels and bytes. Mountain Meadow’s residential manifestations are so perfectly integrated with the natural world where they’re contained that communicating the vision, labor, and end result can get lost… it can be difficult to spotlight the trees for the forest, as it were.

Prior to tackling the website, VFC developed the brand identity for Asheville, North Carolina-based Mountain Meadow Landscaping. The recent “Best Logo” winner from the North Carolina Homebuilders Association, an organization with nearly 15,000 member businesses, Mountain Meadow Landscaping’s identity holds the entire Blue Ridge Mountain range in its iconic glyph, elevated lovingly above inviting grassland in the foreground. The logo communicates strength, excellence and capability underscored by sincere caring. Indeed, the standards set by the Mountain Meadow brand have translated to a representative style guide where shades of blue are carefully positioned to elevate handsome branding, including workwear and a fleet of company vehicles.

VFC commonly collaborates with clients around the country, and our connection with Mountain Meadow Landscaping is close enough that we all wanted their brand to work for them as hard (as efficiently and effectively) as all of their talented team members do. The challenge in developing comprehensive vehicles that showcase such a unique land innovator from six hundred miles away lies in satisfactorily capturing images of the diverse and impressive work that Mountain Meadow delivers throughout the Asheville area. To resolve that issue, we elected to focus on details while telling the story of the growing landscaper’s growing capabilities.
