When a nearby dairy got serious about taking a new product to market, they learned all they could about the process and contacted VFC.
Birchrun Hills Farm, a Chester County, Pennsylvania dairy operation, decided to diversify and develop a line of artisanal cheeses and VFC set about creating an approachable brand that spoke to the craft nature of the product and the local and sustainable nature of the Pennsylvania family farm. The herd of milk cows was special enough to be portrayed as a glyph in the logotype that included hand-illustrated typography.
As more and more consumers are focusing on locally made, sustainably produced, high quality food choices, successfully getting noticed and selected in the retail environment gets more challenging. But Birchrun Hills Farms launched with a powerful plan that included product line branding and packaging while VFC contributed content ideas like food styling and recipes to create brand buzz.
