TABULA RASA FOR ISLAND BREWHOUSE
Leatherback Brewing Company on the US Virgin Island of St. Croix, retained VFC as brand manager prior to even having a name or location. VFC was instrumental in all start up branding including the conceptualization of the brewery aesthetic. The challenge of retrofitting a pedestrian industrial park structure into a tropical destination brewery on a budget that boosted the new brand was successful!
REMODELING DEPARTED DIGS
Mainstay Independent, a brand new brewing operation backed by a renowned regional restauranteur and legendary brewmaster took over the space operated by another beer making operation when they outgrew it. After naming and branding, VFC conceptualized solutions that would make the retrofitted space memorable while communicating that the offering is a different brand and personality.
CORPORATE CAMPUSING
J-Tech is a business-to-business enterprise with multiple divisions for whom VFC developed brand standards and brand management efforts that improved marketing. J-Tech wanted the improved flavor of the newly adopted style guide to resonate with their multi-building enclave and VFC set about defining a corporate campus with divisionally-branded buildings and professional wayfinding.
UTILITARIAN UPGRADE
Sly Fox Brewing Company underwent a VFC directed rebranding and that equated to a significant amount of inventory needing to be redesigned. Everything from packaging, web and social to the interior of multiple pubs and exterior touches that included economical approaches to introducing the new brand while retaining the personality of beloved a 20+ year old identity.
VFC tackles sign design and production like we do every other client communication project–strategically. We will not just design a sign directed by a client, but will evaluate the environment, the audience, explore materials and present options that create expectations.
BRANDS AS SIGNS
To save the client money while elevating the brand, VFC retrofitted an existing lightbox with a classy laser-cut metal insert and message board and consulted on numerous other exterior and interior brand treatments for this Reading, PA retailer.
Multiple complex interior and exterior concepts were presented for this new office environment where they do not receive a lot of visitors, but need to impress those that do.
VFC employed brand touches throughout this popular restaurant including transforming an existing sign by upcycling materials to underscore a very unique brand treatment featuring cut metal and backlit color.
